Privacy Policy

Generations, Inc. ("Generations," "we," "us") runs this website and the Generations Experience. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or registering for an experience, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Registration details: your name, email, phone number, date of birth, city, and state or country.

  • Optional context: a family or member connection, how you heard about Generations, dietary restrictions, and anything you share about what you're hoping to gain.

  • Payment details: these are collected and processed by our payment provider, [Stripe / Checkout Page]. We never see or store your full card number.

  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through the site.

Information collected automatically When you visit the site, we and our service providers may collect standard technical information: your browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and general location based on your IP address. We use this to understand how the site is used and to keep it working. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Process your registration and payment, and confirm your spot.

  • Plan the experience, including meals, groups, and accommodations for dietary needs.

  • Send you event details, updates, and important changes.

  • Prepare your Growth Plan and pre-experience assessments.

  • Respond to your questions and requests.

  • Tell you about future Generations experiences and membership, if you're interested. You can opt out at any time.

  • Keep our site and community safe, and meet our legal obligations.

Why we ask for your date of birth: it helps us keep each group within the rising-generation age range the experience is designed for.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers who help us run the site and the event, such as website hosting ([Framer]), payment processing ([Stripe / Checkout Page]), data storage ([Google Workspace]), email ([provider]), and event partners like venues and caterers. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.

  • With assessment partners: if you complete the 5 Voices or other assessments through a partner platform, [GiANT / partner name], that partner will receive the information needed to deliver your results.

  • With other attendees, in limited ways: your first name, and anything you choose to share, will be visible to others at the event.

  • For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Generations, our attendees, or others.

  • In a business transfer: if Generations is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Cookies and analytics

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and measure traffic. [We use Framer Analytics / Google Analytics / Meta Pixel.] You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

Photos and video

We may photograph or film parts of the experience. See our Terms for how that content may be used, and how to let us know if you'd prefer not to appear.

How long we keep information

We keep registration information for as long as we need it to run the experience and stay in touch with you, and as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Payments are handled by [Stripe], which is certified to the highest industry standard for card security (PCI DSS Level 1). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.

Your choices and rights

  • Marketing emails: unsubscribe using the link in any email, or write to us.

  • Access, correction, and deletion: you can ask to see, update, or delete your personal information. We may need to keep some records, such as payment records, where the law requires it.

  • State and international rights: depending on where you live (for example California, other U.S. states, the UK, or the EU), you may have additional rights. These can include knowing what we collect, limiting how it's used, or objecting to certain processing. To use any of these rights, contact us. We won't treat you differently for doing so.

Age requirement

The Generations Experience is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and we'll notify registered attendees of any significant changes.
